A prolonged stretch of hot and humid weather begins Tuesday with highs in the 90s through the weekend! Stay cool and hydrated as the heat and humidity ramps up. Storms will threaten again by Thursday.

There is a small chance of a passing storm up north, otherwise it's a hot and humid evening.

Partly cloudy, warm and muggy tonight, lows will be in the 60s.

The heat and humidity continue to build on Wednesday with hazy sunshine. Highs will range from the mid 80s to lower 90s. We'll see a sea breeze return to the coast in the afternoon.

Heat and humidity Thursday with an approaching front. Storms could be strong Thursday afternoon/evening.

Temps won't cool much behind that front for Friday and the weekend as highs will be well into the 80s to lower 90s into the weekend.

The real relief from the heat appears to come early next week.
